Three Hurt as Police Car Crashes on M5 Near Frankley

A West Midlands Police car smashed on the M5 this morning, leaving three people injured. The solo crash took place around 9am on the southbound stretch between junctions three and four near Frankley.

Emergency Teams Swiftly Respond

West Midlands Ambulance Service rushed three ambulances, two paramedics, and a specialist trauma team to the scene. They treated the injured at the site for what are believed to be minor injuries. All three victims were rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham for further checks and treatment.

West Mercia Police confirmed they are investigating the cause of the wreck. The southbound carriageway between junctions three and four has fully reopened, with traffic now moving back to normal after the early morning chaos.
