Teen Knifed to Death in Grim London Stabbing Spree
A horrifying knifing has rocked Purley, London, leaving one teenager dead and two others injured in a brutal late-night attack.
Three Teens Stabbed in Linked Attacks
Police were called to Brighton Road, Croydon, at around 9.10pm on Thursday, 11 July after reports of a stabbing. Officers, London Ambulance Service, and Air Ambulance rushed to the scene.
Despite their efforts, a male teen died at the scene at 9.50pm. Two other teenage males were also stabbed nearby. One suffered stab wounds and is now in stable condition in a south London hospital. The third teen was found close to Purley Railway Station with a slash wound but his injuries are not life-threatening.
Arrests Made in Bloody Purley Knife Attacks
Police have arrested the third injured teen on suspicion of attempted murder. Two additional males were also detained on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.
A witness said the stabbings happened on the High Street and then at the station, and were linked. They added, “We had to leave Pizza Express out of the back door.”
