Shock Kidnap on Oxford Street: Police Hunt Witnesses

Police are hunting witnesses after a chilling kidnap in Oxford. On Wednesday (30/9), between 11.55am and 12.10pm, two men out for a walk along Bartholomew Road were snatched by four men driving a dark BMW.

Victims Forced Into Car – Hours on the Run

The victims, a man in his twenties and another in his thirties, were forced into the car and driven around for nearly three hours. Thankfully, neither was harmed or needed hospital treatment.

Police Plea: Check Dash-Cams and Speak Up

“I’m appealing to any witnesses who may have seen what happened, or anyone with information to please come forward,” said Detective Constable Christopher Bennett of Oxford police station. “I’d also urge motorists in the area at the time to check dash-cam footage for anything suspicious.”

Four Arrested But Released on Bail

Police have arrested four men from Oxford, aged between 31 and 46, on suspicion of kidnap. All have been released on police bail until 28 October.
