Chaos erupted in North London’s Tottenham on Tuesday morning after a woman plunged from scaffolding attached to an eighth-floor building. Police, fire crews, paramedics, and London’s elite HART team were all scrambled to Lapwing Heights on Mill Mead Road just after 8.30am.

Investigation Launched – Health and Safety Executive May Step In
A Met Police spokesman confirmed: “Police were called at about 8.10am on Tuesday, 28 November to reports of a woman fallen from height in Mill Mead Road, N17.
Adding, “The woman, believed to be aged in her 40s, has been taken to hospital and we await an update on her condition.”
The full circumstances of the fall are still under investigation, with police set to liaise with the Health and Safety Executive if needed. Road closures remain in place as inquiries continue.
