Man Hit by Hit-and-Run Driver on South East Road
Hampshire police are hunting witnesses after a 36-year-old man was knocked down on South East Road last Friday.
Incident Details
The victim was trying to get into the passenger side of a green Toyota Yaris, parked near Kathleen Road, when he was struck. A family member had just arrived to pick him up between 3pm and 3.15pm.
The culprit sped off in an old, small black hatchback heading towards Itchen, refusing to stop.
Injuries and Appeal for Witnesses
The man sustained minor injuries to his hand, wrist, and head but thankfully nothing life-threatening.
Police are urging anyone who saw the crash or has information to come forward. If you were in the area, speak up!
