Motorcycle Crash on A262 Claims Life of Sussex Man

A fatal crash on the A262 Goudhurst Road has shocked the local community. At around 4.35pm on Sunday, 12 September 2021, a red Yamaha motorcycle reportedly left the road near Chalk Lane.

Man in 60s Dies at Scene

Emergency crews, including police, ambulance, and fire services, rushed to the scene. Sadly, a man from Sussex in his 60s was pronounced dead at the location. No other vehicles were reportedly involved. His next of kin have been informed.

Police Seek Witnesses and Dashcam Footage

The Serious Collision Investigation Unit urges anyone with information to come forward. They are particularly keen to obtain dashcam footage that might show the crash or the motorcycle moments before the incident.
