Youth Shoved Into Car Boot in Portsmouth Shocker
Police are probing a bizarre incident in Portsmouth after reports a teen was bundled into a car boot on Friday evening.
Man Snatches Youth in Broad Daylight
Between 5pm and 5.30pm on November 18, a dark five-door hatchback swung into Penarth Avenue from Havant Road. Two youths, aged around 16-18, were nearby when the driver suddenly grabbed one and forced him into the boot before speeding off northwards.
Police Seek Witness to Clear Up Mystery
Only one of the two youths has reported the incident. Officers want to speak with the other teen to find out if this was a prank or something more sinister.
“We don’t want to alarm the public,” said DC Tom Hewitt. “No victim or witnesses have come forward and no missing people match the youth’s description. Our priority is the safety of those involved.”
