Police cordoned off a road in Hilsea after a suspected bomb was discovered this afternoon. Ackworth Road has been sealed off around BS Steel by police after the piece of ordnance – believed to be from the 1950s-1970s – was discovered. Royal Ordinance specialists have confirmed the warhead is inert and safe to move.
