Emergency services called to a building collapsed in Romford – UKNIP

Fire crews,Paramedics and the London Ambulance have been called to a building collapse in Romford. Emergency services rushed to the scene just after 1 pm on Wednesday to a roof collapsed with persons reported and Unaccounted for. The incident is at AMAS supermarket on Romford Road Manor Park in E12. Road closures have been putting place in both directions on the A118 emergency services deal with the incident drivers are advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes. The number of people trapped or injured is currently unknown and the cause of the collapse is also under investigation. Both the Metropolitan Police and London Fire service have been approached for comment. More to follow
