Five Mowed Down by Car in South uk/where/london-places/">London
Bromley,Lewisham Sunday 26 February 2017 : Five people have been taken to hospital after a car ploughed into pedestrians in south London. The incident happened near Catford Bus Garage in bellingham/">Bellingham this morning when the car left the road and crashed into a wall. A number of pedestrians were hurt and the road is closed while police investigate. The incident happened on road near Catford Bus Garage in Bellingham just after 08.20am this morning. Five people have been taken to hospital after a car ploughed into pedestrians in south London. The driver of the car was detained at the scene by an off-duty police officer before being arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. Road closures are in place Witness Jonathan Brown said : ‘Big car crash on Bromley Road… tons of police, ambulances, even helicopter landed in PC world… one person trapped under a car and two others injured…. at the car wash… my thought and prayers are with them.’
