Man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in Oxford

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a woman was stabbed in Headington. Today, at about 10.40am, Thames Valley Police officers arrested a 30-year-old man from Oxford in connection with the incident, which occurred yesterday (12/3) at about 3.10pm outside Co-Op in London Road. He is currently in police custody. The victim, a woman aged in her twenties, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where she remains at this time. Her family is being supported by specially trained officers.
