Police Close Road near Widley.

Officers from Hampshire roads policing, Havant have closed a section of London Road near Widley following serious single vehicle collision. The road has been cordoned off in both directions following the incident that happened just before 3pm this afternoon. Police have advised that the area is like to stay closed for the next few hours whilst they carry out accident investigation work. A local traffic diversion has been put in Place near to the junction of London Road and Portsdown Hill Road. Specialists from the Roads Crash collision team are using a scanner to collect and gather evidence from the scene near to the The George Inn Public house. More to follow shortly.
