Three teenage boys have been arrested following the stabbing of a 15-year-old boy in Surrey Quays last month. The incident occurred on Quebec Way at 9:16 pm on Tuesday, September 3, when police were called to reports of a stabbing. Officers arrived to find the young victim suffering from knife injuries. He was taken to hospital for treatment, and fortunately, his injuries were not life-threatening.
Between September 11 and 13, three 16-year-old boys were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. They were taken to South London police stations and have since been bailed pending further enquiries.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said, “Police were called at 9:16 pm on Tuesday, September 3 to reports of a stabbing in Quebec Way, SE16. Officers, the London Ambulance Service, and London’s Air Ambulance attended and found a 15-year-old boy suffering knife injuries. Three boys, all aged 16, were arrested and have been bailed pending further enquiries.”
