Man Trapped After Serious Crash on A41 Near Whitchurch
Emergency services rushed to the scene of a nasty collision on the A41 near Sandford, Whitchurch, just after 10pm last night.
Swift Rescue Operation
West Midlands Ambulance Service dispatched an ambulance, a paramedic officer, and a MERIT trauma doctor. On arrival, they found a man seriously injured and trapped inside his car.
“Crews worked closely with fire service colleagues to free the man,” a West Midlands Ambulance spokesman said. The victim received specialist trauma care on the spot before being rushed to Royal 1 University Hospital.
Lorry Driver Unharmed
The lorry driver involved in the crash was checked over at the scene and discharged without injuries.
