Emergency services raced to the M11 southbound just after 10.05am between junctions 8 (Bishop’s Stortford) and 9 (Newmarket) following a serious crash. A small vehicle transporter carrying a white van overturned, trapping the driver inside.

Paramedics fought to save the man but he sadly died at the scene.
