Tragic Death After Bus Collision in Dorset
Dorset Police were called at 2.28pm on Friday, June 10, 2022, after a collision between a single-decker bus and a pedestrian on Turlin Road.
Man in His 40s Flown to Hospital – Later Dies
Emergency crews rushed to the scene, airlifting the local man, aged in his 40s, to Southampton General Hospital with serious injuries. Sadly, he passed away the following day, Saturday, June 11, 2022. His family has been informed.
“Our thoughts are with the family of the man who sadly died at this extremely difficult time for them,” said traffic unit Sergeant Sarah Jones.
Police Call for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
The police are urging anyone who saw the collision or has dashcam footage to come forward. Sergeant Jones said, “I would continue to encourage any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to please contact us.”
