Met Police Release CCTV in Hunt for Clapham Attack Suspect

The Met Police have dropped crucial CCTV footage in the desperate search for Abdul Ezedi. The clip shows him buying what looks like water at a Tesco on Caledonian Road before slipping away. This evidence is key in tracking down Ezedi, wanted over a savage Clapham attack that left a woman fighting for her life.

Last Known Movements Captured on Camera

The CCTV, dated January 31, 2024, gives fresh clues to Ezedi’s trail. At 21:33, he was caught leaving Tower Hill Underground station – his final confirmed sighting. Earlier, he switched from the Victoria Line at Victoria Station at 21:10, hopping onto the eastbound District Line at 21:16.

£20,000 Reward as Hunt Intensifies

The Met are urging anyone with info to come forward, offering a hefty £20,000 reward for leads that crack the case. Commander Jon Savell praised the public for their tips but warned anyone sheltering Ezedi: “If you are harbouring or assisting him, you will be arrested.”

Victim’s Condition Remains Critical

The 31-year-old woman attacked in Clapham is still in hospital, battling life-changing injuries. She was known to Ezedi, heightening the chilling nature of the assault.

The Met’s Specialist Crime Command is leading the chase alongside local police, British Transport Police, National Crime Agency, UK Border Force, and others.
