Body Found in Woodland Sparks Police Appeal
Police have launched an urgent appeal after the body of a man was found in woodland near an allotment. The deceased is described as a white male, aged between 50 and 55, with a large build. Investigators believe he had been in the area for around a month before being discovered.
Emergency Services Called to Scene
The grim discovery was made on Friday, 5 September. Emergency services rushed to the scene near the allotment to investigate. Officers are now working to identify the man and uncover the circumstances of his death.

“We are appealing for anyone who may have known this man or has information about him to please get in touch. Any detail, however small, could help us piece together who he was and inform his next of kin,” said a police spokesperson.
