Sea Lanes Brighton Set to Make Waves This May
Brighton’s latest splash hit, Sea Lanes Brighton, is gearing up for its grand opening in May 2023. The National Open Water Swimming Centre of Excellence has already hooked over 1,000 eager members. Featuring a 50m, 6-lane, open-air heated pool, this seaside gem promises a fresh, invigorating swim experience.
Local Swimmers Dive In Early
South Downs Leisure, the local trust behind the project, reveals that 90% of members come from Brighton’s BN1, BN2, and BN3 postcodes. That’s serious local love for the new pool! Plus, all commercial units on site have snapped up tenants like Paddle People, The Endurance Project Coaching, and Swim Trek, adding buzz and business to the venue.
Leaders Praise the Momentum
Joe McNulty, Sea Lanes Brighton Director, couldn’t hide his excitement: “We’re thrilled to open this incredible facility and welcome our new commercial partners on board.” Meanwhile, Duncan Anderson, CEO of South Downs Leisure, called the early membership numbers “fantastic support” and a brilliant sign of things to come.
