Fire Erupts at St. Mark’s Catholic School in Hounslow

Chaos hit St. Mark’s Catholic School on Bath Road this morning as a fire broke out in one of the classrooms. Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters rushed to tackle the blaze after smoke was spotted billowing from a single-storey block.

Swift Evacuation Saves Hundreds

The emergency call came in at 9:04am, and crews from Heston and Feltham fire stations were on site in minutes. Thanks to a quick-thinking evacuation, about 1,400 staff and students were safely out of the building before the fire brigade arrived.

Fire crews are currently investigating the fire’s origin as they work tirelessly to bring the situation under control. Their rapid response and coordinated efforts are key to safeguarding the school and everyone inside.
