UK and Gibraltar Chiefs Meet to Seal Crucial EU Treaty
Foreign Secretary James Cleverly and Gibraltar’s Chief Minister Fabian Picardo met in London on 21 March for high-stakes talks. Their mission? To fast-track a vital UK-EU treaty focusing on Gibraltar’s future.

As talks continue, both ministers stressed the importance of respecting the December 2020 framework’s balance. They also agreed to prepare for every possibility — including a no-deal scenario.
