A fire tore through a home on Capel Place, Dartford, on Tuesday evening but was swiftly doused by Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS). The blaze was reported at 6:07 pm and fully contained by 9:09 pm, avoiding a potential disaster.
Heavy Kit and Fire Engines Rush to the Scene
Four fire engines and a height vehicle raced to the scene. Firefighters, kitted out in breathing apparatus and protective gear, targeted flames that broke out in a bedroom using powerful hose reel jets. Their swift action stopped the fire spreading further.
