ITVBe is set to vanish this summer as ITV gears up to launch ITV Quiz, a new channel dedicated to Britain’s favourite quiz shows. The reality TV hotspot, home to hits like The Only Way is Essex (TOWIE) and The Real Housewives of Cheshire (RHOCH), will be retired in June 2025.

ITV Quiz Takes Over From ITVBe

Since its 2014 debut, ITVBe carved out a niche for reality TV fans. But from June, its big-name shows like TOWIE and RHOCH will move to ITV2. Meanwhile, the new ITV Quiz channel will focus entirely on quiz and game shows, riding high on the success of ITVX’s free ad-supported quiz streams.

ITV promises fan favourites such as The Chase, Tipping Point, and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? will headline the channel’s fresh line-up.

“ITV plans to use the channel slot as ITV Quiz, drawing on ITV’s popular UK quiz and game shows and the success and learnings of ITVX FAST channels.”

ITV2 Reclaims Reality TV Crown

The reality TV heavyweights are heading back to where it all started. TOWIE returns to ITV2 ahead of its 15th anniversary, having debuted there before switching to ITVBe. Joining it on ITV2 are shows like Love Island, Big Brother, and original commissions including G’Wed, Transaction, and Olivia Attwood’s Price of Perfection.

Sam & Billie Faiers Reunite for New Series

Reality fans get a treat as Sam and Billie Faiers team up again for Sam & Billie: Sister Act. Produced by Potato (ITV Studios), this new show marks Sam’s first TV return since 2021 when she stepped back from The Mummy Diaries.

ITV’s Digital Strategy Shifts Gear

This reshuffle signals ITV’s sharp pivot to target audiences more effectively. With ITV2 ranking as the UK’s most-watched digital channel among 16 to 34-year-olds, it’s the perfect home for reality hits. At the same time, ITV shows confidence in quiz formats, which continue to pull strong ratings both live and online.
