Two fire engines raced to the scene, dousing the flames with a hose reel jet and water from a nearby hydrant.
Luckily, no one was hurt. Firefighters believe the blaze sparked when flames from a nearby bonfire spread out of control.
Bonfire Blaze Warning
Fire crews are urging the public to keep bonfires far from homes, fences, and plants. They stress the importance of constant supervision while burning.
“Always build your bonfire well away from anything flammable and never leave it unattended,” warned a fire spokesperson.
