Man Dies After Falling From Height on Southwark Street

A man has tragically died after falling from a height on Southwark Street in central London this morning, October 29.

Emergency Services Rush to Scene

Police, London Ambulance Service, London’s Air Ambulance, and the Fire Brigade arrived just before 8 a.m. They found the man critically injured. Despite their best efforts, he was pronounced dead at around 8:30 a.m.

Police Statement and Investigation

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 8:02hrs on Tuesday, 29 October, to reports of a man who had fallen from height in Southwark Street, SE1. Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, the man was sadly pronounced dead at 08:27hrs.”

The man’s next of kin have been informed. Police are treating the death as “unexpected but not suspicious.” A report will be prepared for the coroner to investigate further.
