A man has been stabbed and another injured following a fight at a residential property close to a prison in Hammersmith.

Standoff on Du Cane Road

Metropolitan Police rushed to Du Cane Road today after reports of a person barricading himself inside a home. Officers found a 37-year-old man had locked himself inside the property.

Fight Leaves One Hospitalised, Another Hurt

  • A man in his 50s was stabbed during an earlier fight inside the home and was rushed to the hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening.
  • Another man, also in his 50s, suffered a minor slash wound to the shoulder and was treated at the scene.
  • The two injured men are believed to know the 37-year-old who barricaded himself inside.

Road Closed, No Wider Danger

Du Cane Road remains closed following the incident. A police spokesperson said:

“This is believed to be an isolated incident with no wider risk to the public.”
