Rising Water Safety Fears Amid Multiple Incidents

This is London’s second water disappearance case involving youngsters this week. Eleven-year-old Kaliyah Coa remains missing after falling into the River Thames near Barge House Causeway on Monday.

Meanwhile, a body was recovered from Crown Lakes near Peterborough after a teenager went missing swimming on Wednesday. Warmer weather is drawing more people to open water, raising alarms over safety.

Police Issue Urgent Safety Warning

The Metropolitan Police urge everyone to be extra cautious around open water, especially unsupervised spots with hidden hazards like currents and cold temperatures. They also ask anyone with information to come forward immediately.

The search for the missing boy is ongoing. Community support remains with his family as updates will follow.
