Urgent Dashcam Appeal in Search for Missing 82-Year-Old in Maidstone
Police are desperately hunting for Edward Cheesman, an 82-year-old missing from Maidstone. A major search is underway across Kent, as officers seek dashcam footage to crack the case.
Last Seen Near Downswood Drive
Edward was last spotted in the Deringwood Drive area of Downswood on the afternoon of Thursday, 17 November 2022. He’s described as slim, just under six feet tall, with short grey hair and glasses.
He was likely wearing a blue fleece zipped up, dark blue jeans, and black shoes. But beware—he might not have been wearing his glasses when last seen.
Police Plea: Check Your Dashcams and Gardens
“We are very concerned for Edward’s welfare and urge drivers who travelled Deringwood Drive between 3pm and 7.30pm on 17 November to check their dashcam footage,” said Inspector Sarah Stevenson. “If anyone has seen Edward or knows where he is, please get in touch immediately.”
Residents in Downswood and nearby areas are also being asked to check their gardens and outbuildings for any sign of Edward.
