Missing Teen Laila Last Seen Near Weymouth
Fifteen-year-old Laila Frank-Gore vanished after leaving her Wyke Regis home around 4pm on Friday, 14 July 2023. Worried police and family launch urgent search.
Description and Last Sighting
Laila is of slight build with long mousey blonde hair. When she disappeared, she wore a black hooded top featuring Mickey Mouse, a white hooded jacket covered in Rug Rats images, light blue jeans, and white trainers.
Police Concern and Appeal
Chief Inspector Andy Edwards of Dorset Police said:
“While we have no information to suggest Laila has come to any harm, she has been missing for several days, which is unlike her. We are very concerned for her welfare.”
He added that enquiries suggest Laila may have been travelling by train with other teenagers between Weymouth and London on Sunday afternoon, 16 July.
Public Help Needed
Police urge anyone with information to come forward immediately. Chief Inspector Edwards also made a heartfelt plea directly to Laila:
“If you see this, please contact us or your family. We just want to make sure you’re safe.”
