Fire Breaks Out in Fulham Flat – No Injuries Reported

Five fire engines and about 35 firefighters rushed to tackle a blaze at a flat on Wandsworth Bridge Road, Fulham.

Half of Fifth-Floor Flat Damaged

The fire damaged half of a fifth-floor apartment. Luckily, one woman and two others made it out before the firefighters arrived. There were no injuries.

Fire Under Control in Just Over Two Hours

The London Fire Brigade received the call at 9am on Wednesday. Firefighters from seven stations – Fulham, Wandsworth, Chelsea, Battersea, Tooting, Clapham, and Kensington – battled the flames. The fire was under control by 11:15am.

Accidental Cause Suspected

Authorities believe the fire started accidentally. Investigations are ongoing.
