Operation Brock Reloaded as Christmas Travel Chaos Looms
Operation Brock is back in action from the night of 11th December. Officials are bracing for heavy travel as the Christmas rush hits the roads.
What’s Operation Brock?
In Kent, one side of the M20 motorway will be reserved exclusively for lorries heading to cross-Channel ports. This aims to keep freight moving smoothly despite increased traffic pressure.
How Will Other Traffic Cope?
All other vehicles will be squeezed into a contraflow system on the opposite carriageway. This setup is designed to ease jams and keep the flow steady during the demanding holiday weekends.
Drivers are advised to plan ahead and expect delays during this busy festive period.
