Stormy Stan and Santa Bring Festive Cheer to Newhaven RNLI Christmas Fayre
Newhaven RNLI’s annual Christmas Fayre rocked the Seaford and District Constitutional Club on 26th November, drawing festive crowds for a day of fun and fundraising.
Santa Arrives in Style with Stormy Stan
Stormy Stan, the beloved RNLI mascot, arrived alongside Santa on the Seaford Rotary Club sleigh, handing out presents in the Grotto with his cheerful Elves. The festive spirit was high as youngsters enjoyed games, raffles, and tombolas across the bustling stalls.
Festive Stalls and Treats Galore
The event featured an array of stalls offering Christmas gifts from the RNLI shop, homemade treats, and plenty of festive fun. Local businesses chipped in generously, donating raffle prizes and cakes to boost the fundraising efforts.
Over £3,000 Raised for Lifeboat Crews
Newhaven lifeboat events said, “Due to another generous donation to our Christmas Fayre, our total has now risen! It now stands at £3,030.91. Thank you so much.”
“Thank you to all the local businesses that donated raffle prizes and cakes, and thanks also to Seaford Con Club for allowing us to take over the building! We really do appreciate your generous support.”
Every penny raised goes directly to supporting the Lifeboats and Crews who save lives at sea. A huge thank you to everyone who made the day a smashing success!
