Attempted Abduction Shock in Birmingham! Police are hunting a man after a six-year-old girl was almost snatched from St Bernard’s Grange Pub on Barrows Lane, Sheldon.

Chilling Incident Outside Pub

The scare unfolded between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM on 1 February. A man tried to coax the young girl away from the pub. Thankfully, her quick-thinking dad stepped in and challenged the suspect, who then fled alone. The girl escaped unharmed.

West Midlands Police want to speak to a man spotted near the scene. He’s described as:

  • In his 30s
  • About 6ft 2in to 6ft 3in tall
  • Wearing a black beanie and black jacket

Police Plea: Know This Man?

“Do you know this man? We want to speak to him after the attempted abduction of a girl aged six in Birmingham,” said a West Midlands Police spokesperson. “We’ve been carrying out a number of enquiries since it happened and are asking for anyone with information to get in touch.”
