Police Hunt Suspect After Shocking Attack on 12-Year-Old Girl in Stroud

Police have issued an e-fit of a man wanted over a disturbing attack on a 12-year-old girl near Marle Hill, Stroud. The incident took place on Monday, May 13, at around 4:15pm.

Girl Pushed Into Bushes and Pinned

The young victim was walking near Marle Hill when a man, who had been ahead of her, stopped to let her pass. Suddenly, he grabbed her, pushed her into the bushes, and pinned her to the ground. Thankfully, she screamed for help, forcing the attacker to flee down the hill toward Dark Lane and London Road.

Although physically unharmed, the girl was left shaken by the traumatic ordeal.

Suspect Details Released

  • Gender: Male
  • Race: White
  • Age: Approximately 18-25 years old
  • Build: Slim, athletic
  • Appearance: Round face, short fair hair
  • Clothing at time of attack: White or light grey jumper, black shorts, long socks, and trainers

Police Appeal for Help

Anyone with information about the man’s identity or who captured relevant CCTV or doorbell footage is urged to contact the police on 101. Quote incident number 436 of May 13.
