Massive Blaze Rips Through Gosport Industrial Unit
Fifty firefighters and eight fire engines are battling a huge fire in Hampshire tonight. The blaze broke out around 7.20pm on Barwell Lane, Gosport, threatening nearby industrial units.
Thick Smoke and Explosive Danger
Fire crews from Fareham, Gosport, Portchester, Cosham, and Southsea are on the scene, using water and foam to tackle towering flames. Toxic smoke is billowing as the building reportedly stores lithium batteries, which risk exploding.
Residents Urged to Stay Safe
Incident commanders have warned local residents to keep windows and doors shut while the fire is brought under control. The cause of the fire is still unknown and under investigation.
