Blaze Breaks Out at West Kilburn Home
Firefighters were scrambled to a three-story property on Elgin Road, West Kilburn, after a fire alarm triggered panic on Tuesday night.
Massive Fire Response
Shortly after 9.10pm on March 28, six fire engines and crews from multiple stations rushed to the scene following reports of smoke pouring from a window and several people unaccounted for.
Two firefighter teams, decked out in breathing apparatus, tackled the blaze head-on using hose reels. A full search of the property is underway to ensure no one is trapped inside.
High-Tech Help and Road Closures
Specialist drone units equipped with thermal imaging cameras have joined the effort to locate hotspots and control the fire.
Authorities have closed nearby roads, urging drivers to steer clear and find alternative routes.
Emergency Medics on Site
Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and a specialist HART team are at the scene providing medical support.
The cause of the fire remains unknown. The London Fire Brigade has been contacted for an official statement.
