The incident happened around 1:44 pm local time, triggering a major emergency response. Steve Davies, who lives next to the crash site, said, “I heard a noise like an engine misfiring and cutting out, then the sound of trees being hit before a loud bang.” He was shocked to learn a light aircraft had come down in the garden. Emergency crews acted fast to secure the area.
Pilot Injured but No Other Casualties
Thankfully, the pilot was alone on board at the time, meaning no one else was hurt. A spokesman for North Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the pilot’s injuries are not life-threatening. They said the pilot was flown by air ambulance to hospital and no other injuries were reported.
