Westbound Traffic Forced onto Long Detour
- Traffic from the A2070 Brenzett roundabout heads onto the A259 towards New Romney.
- At the A259 and B2075 junction (Romney Road), drivers turn right onto B2075 towards Lydd.
- Through Lydd, traffic follows Harden Road, Robin Hood Lane, and Tourney Road.
- Exiting Lydd, cars take Jury’s Gap Road heading to Camber.
- Through Camber, drivers travel on Lydd Road, which merges with Camber Road on exit.
- Camber Road leads back to the A259 at East Guldeford, where normal travel resumes.
Eastbound Drivers: Follow the Reverse Route
Eastbound road users should follow the hollow diamond diversion signs, taking the reverse path of the westbound route to bypass the closure safely.
Keep an eye out for solid triangle signs westbound and hollow diamond signs eastbound to avoid getting caught in the gridlock.
