A fierce fire ripped through the ground floor of a mid-terraced house, sending crews scrambling to douse the flames. Firefighters battled the blaze in scorching conditions, working hard to bring it under control.

  • After 17 emergency calls flooded in, crews from Feltham, Hayes, Twickenham, and nearby stations raced to the scene.
  • The blaze was extinguished by 3.25pm.
