A fierce fire ripped through the ground floor of a mid-terraced house, sending crews scrambling to douse the flames. Firefighters battled the blaze in scorching conditions, working hard to bring it under control.
No One Hurt as Firefighters Swing Into Action
Thankfully, the house was empty at the time. “There were no people inside the house at the time,” confirmed Station Commander Steven Vydelingum, who was at the scene.

- The London Fire Brigade (LFB) got the call at 2.03pm.
- After 17 emergency calls flooded in, crews from Feltham, Hayes, Twickenham, and nearby stations raced to the scene.
- The blaze was extinguished by 3.25pm.
Cause of Fire Under Investigation
Authorities are now probing what sparked the devastating fire. Meanwhile, the brigade’s crews are expected to remain on site into the afternoon ensuring the fire is fully out.
