Fiery Inferno Engulfs Bath Close Home Late Monday
A fierce blaze tore through a mid-terraced house on Bath Close just after 10pm on Monday, December 22. The London Fire Brigade scrambled to the scene to tackle the raging fire.
Massive Fire Crew Battle Intense Flames
With 22 emergency calls flooding in, the LFB deployed six fire engines and around 40 firefighters from Peckham, New Cross, Greenwich, and Brixton stations. The fierce flames gutted much of the second floor in the terrifying blaze.
Casualties, Hospitalisations and Ongoing Probe
The London Ambulance Service treated three women at the scene. Two were rushed to hospital, but tragically, one woman later died. Firefighters had the fire under control by 11:14pm.
The cause of the devastating fire is still under investigation.
