Two arrested for ransacking vehicle and possession of a knife in Southampton
Officers in Southampton have arrested two suspects on Alfred Street after a stop and search on Wednesday.
The pair were arrested for Going Equipped, Theft from Motor Vehicle and Possession of a Bladed Article.
They were found in and near a vehicle which didn’t belong to them and couldn’t explain why they helped themselves to it! Items including a knife were found with and on them.
Given this difficult period with Covid19, you can be more prone to crime even though you think you are safe at home. There are people still out to take advantage of the current situation. Please ensure you keep the car locked overnight and check all the doors and windows at home!
