Two Men Dead, One Seriously Hurt in Horror A13 Crash
Tragedy struck on the A13 in Rainham when a multi-vehicle smash left two men dead and another fighting for his life. The crash near Ferry Lane Interchange happened at around 4:25pm on Friday, February 14.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
- Metropolitan Police, London Ambulance Service, and London’s Air Ambulance raced to the scene.
- Despite desperate efforts, two men in their 40s died at the spot.
- A third man, also in his 40s, was rushed to hospital with life-changing injuries but is now in a stable condition.
Police Launch Investigation and Call for Witnesses
Detectives are hunting for witnesses and dash cam footage to piece together how the crash unfolded. The Met Police issued a statement:
“Officers were called at 4.25pm on Friday, February 14, to reports of a collision involving multiple vehicles on the A13 in Rainham. A man in his early 40s, a passenger in one vehicle, and a man in his mid-40s, the driver of another, died at the scene. Their next of kin have been informed.”
The A13 was closed for nearly 20 hours during police investigations and recovery before reopening at midday on February 15.
