Urgent Search Underway for Missing Essex Children
Emergency services are scrambling to find two young children reported missing tonight in Steeple Bumpstead, Essex.
Beau and Eliza Last Seen at 6.30pm
Beau Ward, 12, and Eliza McIntosh, 10, vanished from the Blois Road area around 6.30pm. Essex Police say they are “very concerned” for the children’s welfare and are racing against time to bring them home safely.
Full-Scale Search in Progress
- The National Police Air Service (NPAS) has been called in to help.
- Officers are conducting door-to-door inquiries and combing nearby areas.
Beau is described as slim with blond hair. Eliza has long, thick dark hair. Police have released a photo showing Beau on the right and Eliza on the left.

Anyone with information or who has seen the children is urged to call 101 immediately, quoting the incident from Saturday, 12 April.
Locals are urged to check their gardens, outbuildings, and review their CCTV or doorbell footage in case the children passed by or sought shelter.
