Daring Early Morning Robbery at Temple Fortune Boots!

Police hunt four mopeds riders after smashing their way into Boots on Finchley Road and stealing over £5,000 worth of top-brand aftershave and perfume.

Smash and Grab at 1:25am

At 01:25am on Thursday, 26 April, four suspects on two dark mopeds pulled up outside Boots the Chemists in Temple Fortune. One carried a large cement post, which was used to smash through the shop’s front door.

They stormed inside, broke glass display cabinets, and stuffed bags with luxury scents from YSL, Armani, Hugo Boss, Paco Rabanne, Givenchy, Diesel, Dior, Lacoste, DKNY, Davidoff, Cerruti, and CK One — making off with more than £5,000 in goods.

Clear CCTV Captures Suspect Details

  • Suspect 1: White top (visible backside in store), dark full-face helmet, dark top and trousers, black shoes.
  • Suspect 2: Dark full-face helmet, dark hooded jacket with white logo on left chest, black trousers over grey pants, black shoes.
  • Suspect 3: Dark full-face helmet, grey top with white Adidas logo on left chest, black trousers.
  • Suspect 4: Dark full-face helmet, light-colored hooded top with blue lining, dark blue trousers, white socks, black shoes.

Detectives Seek Witnesses

“We know from CCTV, drivers and buses were operating at the time, with passengers getting off as the suspects loaded their mopeds,” says Detective Constable Kim Louey from Barnet’s Major Crime Unit.

The police have yet to make any arrests and urge anyone with information to come forward immediately.
