Bottle Brawl Erupts Over Parking Spot in North London
Chaos broke out on Myddleton Road, N22, when a parking dispute turned nasty, leaving one man slashed with a broken bottle. Detectives are hunting a mystery man caught on CCTV linked to the assault.
Violent Clash Leaves Teen with Neck Injury
- The drama unfolded around 6.30pm on Monday, 28 January.
- Police found an 18-year-old with a neck wound caused by a smashed bottle.
- The victim was rushed to hospital but has since been discharged.
- A second man, 21, suffered minor injuries and received treatment.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and CCTV Leads
“This was an innocuous argument about a parking space which descended into violence. Fortunately, the victims did not sustain serious injuries but this could have been a lot worse,” said Acting Detective Sergeant Duncan Layton from North Area Command Unit.
Officers have released CCTV images and are urging anyone who recognises the man or saw the incident to come forward. Contact Wood Green police on 101, quoting reference 6052/28Jan.
A 34-year-old arrested in connection with the attack was later released with no further action.
