Woman Dies After Fall Outside London Hotel

Tragedy struck early Tuesday as a woman fell from height and died outside the Standard Hotel near King’s Cross station in central London.

Met Police Launch Murder Inquiry

Officers from the Met Police rushed to Euston Road at 5.26am after reports of a woman suffering serious injuries consistent with a fall. Despite efforts by the London Ambulance Service, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Crime Scene and Road Closures Ongoing

A crime scene has been set up, and part of Euston Road remains closed to traffic. Police confirmed that numerous road closures are still in place as investigations continue.

A Met Police spokesman said: “Police were called to Euston Road, WC1H, at 5.26am on Tuesday, 8 December following reports that a woman had suffered injuries consistent with a fall from height. Officers attended alongside London Ambulance Service. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. A road closure is in place on Euston Road while enquiries continue.”
