Midnight Mayhem on London Road
Just before midnight on Thursday 9 December, a VW Touareg attracted police attention on London Road, Crowborough. The driver initially stopped but suddenly rammed two police vehicles and sped off towards Kent.
Chase Ends in Dramatic Arrest
With the help of Kent Police and a police helicopter, Sussex officers tracked the rogue car all the way to an address in Hever Road, Edenbridge. The 35-year-old driver was arrested early Friday 10 December.
Serious Charges and No Injuries
The suspect faces multiple charges including drink and drug driving, dangerous driving, and failing to stop for police. Thankfully, no one was hurt during the incident. The driver remains in custody awaiting further questioning.
