Schoolgirl Trapped Under Car on Bromley School Run
A schoolgirl was left trapped beneath a car after being struck during the morning school run in south London. The serious incident occurred on Great Elms Road near the Holmesdale junction in Bromley at 8.20am on Thursday.
Emergency Crews Rush to Scene
- London Air Ambulance’s HEMS medical team arrived swiftly with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service’s HART unit.
- Firefighters from Bromley Fire Station were called in to free the teenager trapped under the vehicle’s wheels.

Met Police Confirm Serious Injuries
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Officers were called at 08:29hrs on Thursday, 15 December to Great Elms Road at the junction with Homesdale Rd, Bromley.
A female pedestrian had been involved in a collision with a car.
London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended, and the woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Local road closures remain in place while emergency services deal with the incident.”
