Young Boy Assaulted by Teens on Rotherham Playing Fields

Rotherham police are on the hunt after an 11-year-old boy was attacked on local playing fields. The shocking incident happened between 3 and 4 p.m. on May 31 at Well Lane in Treeton.

Teens Pour Alcohol Before Brutal Assault

According to reports, a gang of 13 to 14-year-old teenagers approached the young boy, doused him with alcohol, and then launched an assault. The victim, playing alone at the time, was left distressed by the attack.

Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up

Officers are appealing for anyone who was nearby and witnessed the incident or noticed suspicious behaviour to come forward immediately. No detail is too small.
