Police Praise Courage of Victims and Reporters
Detective Constable Hayley Carroll from Bedfordshire Police’s Internet Child Abuse Investigation Team said: “We are all incredibly pleased with this outcome. It’s a powerful message to everyone — victims and non-victims alike — that it’s never too late to report a crime.”
She added, “This result should encourage anyone who has suffered abuse, whether recent or from years ago, to come forward. Sexual assault is a horrific crime that leaves lasting scars on victims, impacting their mental and physical wellbeing.”
“All three victims are relieved and pleased to finally find closure and move forward with their lives,” Carroll confirmed.
